State Performance Measures
States may choose to develop as many State Performance Measures (SPMs), including those based on Standardized Measures (SMs), as needed to address the priorities that were identified based on the findings of a comprehensive Five-year Needs Assessment. These measures address priority needs that have not been addressed through the selected National Performance Measures (NPMs).
Only the States that created an SPM are searchable in this report.
For state-created SPMs, the chart displays the state data and the objectives that the State determined for the measure. For SPMs based on SMs, the chart displays the national baseline data, the State baseline data, and the objectives that the State determined for the measure. National and state data for SPMs based on SMs are also available by various demographic stratifiers. Indicator data are populated, as available, for the current five-year needs assessment reporting cycle (2021-2025). Data for all SMs by state including standard errors, 95% confidence intervals, and numerators and denominators are available in the FAD Resource Document.
